Jenkins Wilson Taylor & Hunt announced its participation in the second annual Pirate Entrepreneurship Challenge, the signature pitch competition of East Carolina University’s Miller School of Entrepreneurship. The three-round contest is open to any ECU student enrolled in the 2018-19 academic year, as well as alumni who have an ECU-enrolled student on the team. More than $70,000 in cash prizes and in-kind services will be awarded.
For its part, Jenkins Wilson Taylor & Hunt will provide trademark search and registration services for the top placements in the Pirate Challenge. The value of services provided total $9,000.

Round one will take place Oct. 23rd, 2018, 12-2 p.m. in the brickyard between Joyner Library and Mendenhall Student Center nearly 100 student teams are already registered for round one. Round two takes place Nov. 15, 6-8 p.m. at the ECU Heart Institute. The final round will be held in ECU’s Murphy Center during February’s National Entrepreneurship Week February 21st 6:00-8:30.
